The Mexican traditional musical band "Tsasná" in Totonac language means Moonlight. The intention of the group is to have the chance to show the real roots of Mexican music. "Tsasná" is a musical group formed with the intention of producing costumes, values and music from the central regions of Mexico, in specific the states of Puebla, Veracruz and the Huastec Region. The participants of the band try to preserve the rich musical traditions in Mexico and make them known overseas. Two of our members are native totonac indians, who has totonac as their native language. We have extensive knowledge of Mexican strings instruments (instruments only found in the Central Area of Mexico). We have been performing for more than 9 years in Mexico and abroad. Internationally we have had concerts in North and South America, England, Turkey, Croatia, the Netherlands, France, Italy.
