NGO "Etnovyr"

On the 27-th of August in 2008  NGO "Etnovyr" was founded. Its activity started  with the same named  international folklore festival in Lviv. In 2008 NGO  became a full member of CIOFF (International Council of Organizations of Folklore Festivals and Folk Arts), and since 2010 a member of IOV (International Organization of Folk Art). The NGO is the only organization in Ukraine is a member of IOV. Both CIOFF and IOV operate under the patronage of UNESCO.
     Since its foundation organization realized a lot of programs and projects, art and cultural events.

-  NGO "Etnovyr"organized three times ethnic festival "Kraina mrij", the initiator and co-organizer of which is Oleg Skrypka.

- This year NGO "Etnovyr" will hold the International Folklore Festival “Etnovyr” for the fourth times.

- NGO "Etnovyr" is the founder and organizer of  international tourism congress "Win with Lion." Due to theactive work of the NGO "Etnovyr" Lviv  in 2010 became the only city among ukrainian cities  member of the International Tourist Association «European Cities Marketing».

- For the first time in Ukraine was initiator of the NGO "Etnovyr" patrioric festival “Lenta za Lentoyu” was hold. The festival aim is to rise of patriotic consciousness, first of all, among the younger generation as well as preservation the values ​​and the memory of the glorious history of Galicia.

- One of the newst NGO’s projects is the Festival of Easter Eggs.(Pysanka Festival). During the Easter Holidays Lviv turned into a open-air  "Museum of Easter Eggs" where were created and decorated  Easter eggs with different materials (with branches, flowers, balloons, chocolate, foam, etc.).


One more achievement the NGO "Etnovyr" is the spirit regenaration  of such a cultural phenomenon of the Lviv city culture of the  early twentieth century as batyarstvo. By the efforts of the NGO was held IV Batyar’s Day.

The main activities of the NGO "Etnovyr"
-    The protection and promotion of cultural heritage of Ukraine
-    Development of nishe tourism in Lviv and in the whole Ukraine
-    Formation of a common tourist image, including to the football championship Euro-2012;
-    Creating a positive image of Ukraine as a tourist country and the intensification, promotion, national tourist product both in domestic and international tourism market
-    Improvement and maximum use of  the Lviv tourist potential
-    Increasing the state's image on the international level
-    Acquaintance with the culture of other nations
-    Environmental protection and natural heritage of Ukraine
